Despite being relatively new to the Bay of Plenty – Brooke and her husband have lived in Tauranga for nine years and counting – Brooke is passionate about this region and her community.
“In the nine years I have been in Tauranga, the landscape has changed dramatically – in that time, the Eastern Link Road has been constructed, Papamoa has doubled in size, the Lakes and Tauriko Crossing have been completed and the Tauriko Industrial Park continues to grow, being the largest industrial park in Australasia.

With over 17 years’ experience in the law, Brooke joined Sharp Tudhope in 2014 and has been a Partner of the firm since 2016. In her work, Brooke brings a practical approach to legal matters, aiming to achieve the most commercially appropriate solutions for her clients to achieve their goals.
“When I first moved to Tauranga, I was involved in the legal work related to the Westpac centre on Cameron Road. I remember going to site for the opening of the new building and got a real kick seeing a project, which started as a concept on paper, become a reality. It takes people with vision to create a city that is amazing to live in.”
Brooke has experience across all aspects of property law, with a focus on commercial property, leasing, developments, and trust law. In Brooke’s view, property is fundamental to the success of the New Zealand economy.
Sharp Tudhope are an active community supporter and have been a key business in the Bay for more than 125 years. Brooke plays her part in supporting the community in her role as Vice-Chair on the Downtown Tauranga Board to support the growth of the city centre.
Brooke has also held other volunteer roles as President of the Bay of Plenty Property Council for three years, Legal Standard Committee Member and also as trustee of various charitable trusts.
