Theresa Eagle of LINK Bay of Plenty is regarded as one of the top business brokers not only in New Zealand, but internationally too. When you engage with her, she’s humble, professional & committed to delivering the best possible results regardless of the business, client, or value.

A 20-year career in hands-on business management and ownership eventually led Theresa to LINK Business Brokers following the sale of her business.

Since her strong arrival into the world of brokering, she has garnered a reputation for excellence which is reflected in her enviable upwards trajectory.

I know what it’s like to be in the position that my clients are in. I bring a lived perspective that buyers and sellers can appreciate and find comfort in. That shared experience brings another dimension to my role.

Her method towards doing business is simple, but certainly effective: transparency, reliability and a pragmatic approach!

Theresa’s business ownership experience has given her first-hand knowledge and genuine insight not often afforded so authentically to prospective buyers and sellers.

“I know what it’s like to be in the position that my clients are in. I bring a lived perspective that buyers and sellers can appreciate and find comfort in. That shared experience brings another dimension to my role,” says Eagle.

“There’s no room for nonsense in this industry,” Theresa says.

“Buying or selling a business is the biggest transaction imaginable, so clients respond well to forthrightness. I’ve always been that way, so it was natural for me to approach business through that same perspective and I’m fortunate that it’s been well-received by my clients.

“It’s afforded me with the opportunity to work with a lot of great people doing what I love to do,” she says.

Viewing her home’s business landscape through a passionate lens, Theresa says, “businesses are the lifeblood of the Bay of Plenty, so to be involved in keeping the region healthy and active is incredibly exciting. That aspect is rewarding for me not just as a broker, but as a proud local too.”
