Heilala Vanilla was named Business of the Year at the recent Westpac Tauranga Business Awards 2020.
The Te Puna-based manufacturer and exporter of high-end vanilla products also picked up two other accolades: the Business, Digital & Technology Innovation Award, and the Manufacturing & / or Distribution Award, which was sponsored by Bay of Plenty Business News.
Meanwhile, in the recent Rotorua Westpac Business Awards, Tim Rigter, General Manager of Red Stag Timber picked up the award for the Rotorua Business Person of the Year, and the Rotorua Lakeside Concert Charitable Trust received the Outstanding Contribution to Rotorua Award.
