Co-founder Basestation Coworking
Steven Vincent, co-founder of Basestation is a strong advocate of the sharing economy. He operated his original office in a “coworking” setting back in 1999. The concept allowed him to get his business started; no lease, no overheads, useful connections and advice from the people he was sharing the space with. In 2014 Basestation opened its doors to the entrepreneurial community in Tauranga.
Basestation is proudly celebrating 10 years of coworking and community building and is now synonymous as Tauranga’s most established dedicated coworking space in the CBD.
Basestation is a place that continues to bring people together to share resources such as hot desks, meeting rooms, office space, as well as a large flexible event facility. The physical space has grown over the years, but what remains unchanged is the community ethos. Steven is proud that people and relationships form the heart of what Basestation is all about. Basestation fosters the entrepreneurial mindset and encourages individuals, teams, and companies to experience the benefits that a coworking environment provides.
